Opening Your App
When you first open your app it will take a few minutes for all your coupons to load. Wait until the loading spinner stops spinning for faster performance.
Getting Started
Tap More to Create an Account and then Add Coupons.
Many of the coolest features of the app utilize your phone’s Location Services. You may need to adjust the Settings on your iPhone so the app can know your current location. To do this, simply tap the Settings icon on your main screen, and look under General and then Location Services. Make sure Location Services is turned to On and that you have the toggle for ChinookBook turned to On as well.
Finding Coupons
There are four great ways to find coupons. Tip for Android customers: Tap your Menu button for fast access to these features.
1. Near Me
Use Near Me find coupons close to your current location or another location you’re interested in. Green pins or circles mean use of the coupon is available; Gray pins mean use of the coupon isn’t available to you, but would be if you purchased a coupon pack.
2. Coupons
Use the Coupons tab to browse coupons by category. To limit the results to a certain distance from your current location, use the Radius tab at the top right.
Note: The Radius function works best if you give the app permission to use location services. See above under Getting Started for more info.
3. Search
Search from Near Me or Coupons. Start entering a search term for the merchant, address or coupon offer and a list will appear.
4. "Clipping" Coupons with Favorites
Maximize your savings and take a few minutes to browse the coupons and then "clip" coupons for easy recall using the "Favorite" button. Favorite coupons are labeled with a small red heart, and you can access them easily later in the My tab.
5. Green versus grey coupons
Coupons that are shaded green are active and can be redeemed at any time.
Coupons that are shaded grey are not active, either because the coupon has been redeemed already or because it was not part of your welcome pack. 
You can activate grey shaded coupons immediately by tapping More and then Add Coupons. It costs $10 to activate all your grey coupons, including refills on those you have already redeemed.
Tip: Are all your coupons grey? Tap More to confirm that you're logged in to your app. You must be logged in to access and redeem your coupons.
Redeeming Coupons
Redeeming coupons is fun and easy! Here's a brief video on how it works.
First pull up a preview of the coupon. Look for blue "Redeem" button. If you see a "Buy" button, that means you don't have a use of that coupon available but could purchase one if you'd like.
The key to successful redemption is to tell the merchant, usually at checkout, that you have a Chinook Book mobile coupon. Have your iPhone (or iPod touch or iPad) ready. When the merchant is ready, tap the Redeem button and show the merchant the next screen with the animation. It’s important the merchant sees the animation so your discount can be granted!
Tracking Your Savings
Under the My tab, tap Savings. Your total estimated savings is an approximate calculation of the estimated savings from each coupon you've used. When not exact, we tried to place the estimated value at the minimum you likely received for that coupon.
Sharing
Up to three family members, or devices, can have access to a Chinook Book mobile coupon pack. Just use the same account login on each device. When one person uses a coupon, it will be used on all devices.
Changing Market
Traveling to another Chinook Book market? Preview Coupons and access Resources for that city. Tap Change Market under the More tab and select the market you're interested in.
