What coupons are on the mobile app?
Pretty much all the local coupons in the printed Chinook Book are available for the app. You can view the full list here. Manufacturer's coupons are currently not available in mobile form. That’s because there’s no system in place to redeem them. Once the retail industry figures this out, we’ll add them
How do I get the app?
The mobile app is free to download at chinookbookmobile.com It is available for Android and iPhone (and other iOS devises).
How do I get mobile coupons?
1) On the App.
Once you have downloaded the app and registered your account, you can purchase a pack of 425 coupons for $10 directly through the app.
To purchase your new pack directly through your app:
- Open the app. From the nav bar, tap More, then Add Coupons.
- Follow the prompts to purchase a pack.
- Watch the magic coupon loader do its thing.
2) Through school fundraising.
School fundraising programs this year will sell both printed Chinook Books and a separate Mobile Coupon Pack that includes a code for the full library of mobile coupons. The cost for the printed book is $20; and the cost for the Mobile Coupon Pack is $10. Your school will receive 20% of every purchase.
3) At Stores.
Many of our retailers will be selling both printed book and mobile packs. You can find a list of retailers here.
How come mobile coupon codes are not included with the purchase of a printed Chinook Book book this year?
We now have over 20,000 people actively using the Chinook Book app, so we've decided it makes sense to let people to buy Chinook Book in the form they want. Printed Chinook Book coupon books will cost $20 and include manufacturer's coupons. Mobile Coupon Packs will cost $10 and include local retailers but not manufacturers coupons. You can preview the merchants and offers in both products in the print and mobile sections above.
How do I redeem a mobile coupon?
It's simple. Redeeming coupons is fun and easy! Here's a brief video on how it works.
First pull up a preview of the coupon. Look for blue "Redeem" button. If you see a "Buy" button, that means you don't have a use of that coupon available but could purchase one if you'd like. The key to successful redemption is to tell the merchant, usually at checkout, that you have a Chinook Book mobile coupon. Have your phone ready. When the merchant is ready, tap the Redeem button and show the merchant the next screen with the animation. It’s important the merchant sees the animation so your discount can be granted!
Is it possible to add more than one Mobile Coupon Pack?
You can enter as many codes for coupon packs as you want into the app, or buy as many as you want directly though the app. All coupons will be stored together, so as you redeem one the next one will become available. Since the fill library of mobile coupons only costs $10, you can stock up on packs so you always have your favorites on hand.
Can more than one phone share the same coupon pack?
Yes. Up to three devices can share the same account and access the coupons in that account.
